Exciting news, The Meltdown has been selected to premiere in Cannes! For this movie I have worked with two actresses, of which one is Saskia Rosendahl.

As an actress my wish was to prepare for my next movie. Being on her own in Chilean winter mountains, my character „Lina“ has to face a horrible time searching for her missing child. On top Lina is a former Olympic figure skater, which brings a certain body and mind history.

Together (with Iris) we set the main goals: slim down, get fit, feel strong and healthy within the next 3 months until the shooting starts.

Honestly, for the first time in my life I had a super challenging sports plan and managed to stick to it while having fun and at the end also reach my goal. I was surprised that my body and appearance changed noticeably. I gained strength, my knee pain was so much better, I didn't struggle anymore not snacking, I lost weight (5,8kg) and felt prepared to climb the Chilean winter mountains.

I needed someone to supervise me in a caring and professional manner. ' - Saskia Rosendahl (read more on her experience)

Personally I have really enjoyed working on this project. Both challenging and exciting, I am very proud of what we have achieved.

Directed by Chilean filmmaker Manuela Martelli, this thriller is set in 1992 Chile. It follows a nine-year-old girl named Inés who, while staying near an Andean ski resort, befriends a teenage German skier who mysteriously vanishes. The resulting search is used as a tense metaphor for the historical secrets and collective suppressions in post-dictatorship Chile. Watch the official trailer here.
